A Boston-based healthcare product strategist with a passion for social impact and community building, Haya shares her story, from unexplained infertility and loss, to pursuing fertility treatment (IUI & IVF) as a path to parenthood, culminating in a complicated twin pregnancy and postpartum experience. Over the course of the conversation we chat about navigating relationships and boundaries while family building, the importance of building community, mental health support, best practices on how to support a family member or friend who is struggling to grow their family, Haya’s role as an AllPaths volunteer support group leader, and Our Gathering Place, her new business aimed at supporting parents during the first early years.
Haya is a parent of toddler twins who knows the challenges of feeling isolated, exhausted, and lacking clear guidance from the healthcare system. Her career has been dedicated to helping others and making complex processes easier to navigate. As a healthcare consultant for a Fortune 5 company, she has spent the past decade crafting product strategies informed by her deep understanding of human behavior and motivation, balancing both individual and systemic perspectives. This role has given her insight into the effort required for individuals to access care that feels informed and aligned with personal values.
Her passion for supporting others extends beyond her corporate role. Previously, Haya ran a public-private partnership organization in East Africa, focused on enabling social entrepreneurs to build sustainable businesses addressing community needs. Now, she channels her dedication into Our Gathering Place (OGP), bringing support and resources to parents with shared experiences during their first few years of parenthood.
