To our colleagues, members, friends and supporters in New England:
Today we want to take a moment to reflect on the terrible tragedy at the Boston Marathon yesterday afternoon. We know how beloved the Marathon tradition is not just for Boston, but for the New England and global community. We hope that you and your loved ones are safe. Our thoughts are with those grieving families affected by this tragedy.
We offer our deepest thanks to the herculean effort of the Boston medical community and first-responders: that so many people are still alive it is a testament to the standard of medical excellence in Boston.
At RESOLVE New England, we are committed to support, education and advocacy. Our infertility peer support groups will meet as scheduled this week unless otherwise posted at our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) or at the Calendar here at our website.
If you feel you need additional support, please see our listing of New England mental health professionals at our online directory here.
We may be shaken, saddened and shocked by yesterday’s devastating events, but we remain committed to supporting our New England community – infertility, adoption or otherwise in the wake of this tragedy – however we can.
Warmly,
The Staff & Board of RESOLVE New England
