AllPaths’ annual fundraising walk Footsteps for Family Building is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of the diverse paths to building a family and a commitment to ensuring that no one walks alone on their journey. And by walking together, the community helps fund AllPaths’ mission ensuring that no matter how difficult the path gets, people have access to the options, resources, support, and community they need when trying to build the family of their dreams.

We’re excited for our 2025 Walk, scheduled for Sunday morning, October 5, 2025. As with years past, you can participate in-person at the Warren Conference Center and Inn in Ashland, MA, or virtually from wherever you are.

Leading the charge in 2025 are two incredible women, coincidentally both named Lauren. Affectionately referred to as “Lauren Squared,” both have navigated their own challenging family building journeys and are deeply committed to supporting the AllPaths community.

Meet Lauren Delaney and Lauren Hart Clancy!

Both Laurens have generously shared their personal family building stories, offering powerful insights into the complexities, heartaches, and eventual joys of their journeys.

Lauren Delaney, 2025 Footsteps for Family Building Co-ChairLauren Delaney is a returning co-chair for the Footsteps for Family Building walk. She and her husband have two children, whom she refers to as their “rainbow babies” born through IVF. Lauren’s journey involved navigating significant medical history, the complexities of insurance coverage, and finding ways for partners to feel involved. She is a strong advocate for workplace support, having successfully created a family building support group and influenced policy changes at her former employer regarding fertility coverage and bereavement leave for pregnancy loss.

Lauren Hart Clancy, 2025 Footsteps for Family Building Co-ChairLauren Hart Clancy is a dedicated volunteer and peer leader with AllPaths. She is also a passionate advocate with a background in public health, focusing on maternal child health, education, and advocacy. Lauren’s journey was intertwined with unexpected medical findings, difficult decisions about care providers, and navigating treatment during major life events, including the pandemic and even a home disaster. Her experience highlights the critical need for support and advocacy throughout the process.

While we’ve touched briefly on their backgrounds, the best way to understand the depth of their experiences and the passion they bring to the Footsteps for Family Building walk is to hear their stories in their own words. Both Laurens have been guests on the AllPaths Podcast where they shared the detailed, personal accounts of their paths to parenthood.

We encourage you to listen to their podcast episodes to truly connect with their journeys, learn from their challenges, and be inspired by their resilience. You’ll hear about the moments of despair, the tough decisions, the incredible support systems they found (and sometimes didn’t), and the triumphant moments of building their families.
