Working for this organization for the past 11 years has been the most profound professional experience of my life, and I am very grateful, so this news is not easy to share. I have resigned as the Executive Director of AllPaths Family Building, and my last day of work will be January 23, 2026. I am leaving to provide more caregiving for my mom – a responsibility that feels like a full circle moment given our family centered mission at AllPaths.
When I reflect back, there have been many accomplishments, but what stands out most are the incredible people at the heart of them. I feel so much gratitude and joy when I think of all of you. The babies born after fertility insurance laws expanded coverage in New Hampshire and Maine. The resilient individuals and couples at various stages of their own family building. Families that grew through adoption or surrogacy. Though I do not personally know every person who has felt heard and nurtured by our organization (I tried, ha!), I have been honored to be a part of your story.
I especially need to extend my heartfelt thanks to Emily Lindblad (and Kirsten Desorbo before her). It is always important to work well with your colleagues, but when you are a staff of two, it is absolutely essential. And I have been beyond fortunate!
I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition to the next Executive Director and excited about the bright future ahead for AllPaths, which is thriving. This year we wrapped up celebrating our 50th anniversary all across New England, had our most successful Footsteps for Family Building Walk ever, and our supportive community keeps growing. The executive search is already underway, so you will see more information in the weeks ahead. The exceptional staff and Board will continue to steward this organization with care and dedication. When you reach out to AllPaths, you will be greeted by the warmth and understanding that you know.
This is a big change but not a goodbye. AllPaths is part of me, and I am part of AllPaths, forever.
